I wanted to post this, because the letter explains why we write. Our greatest dream is to write from the heart, keep your eyes open, and when you're feeling down, someone like Quincy who reminds us of that glorious feeling that you've made a deep, genuine imprint on a reader. Thank you, Quincey. My next two books will hopefully strike all the same chords -- and some new ones -- in your heart, too.

First Name: Quincy
Additional Info: I picked up ''Hero'' yesterday, and staid up until midnight to finish it. I could not find the will to put down such a ground-breaking story, even for a moment. I've struggled with being gay in my own life, and I've had more trouble from myself than anyone else. I wanted to tell you that after reading ''Hero'', I decided that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, and that I can only be happy if I give myself that chance to be, and if I come to terms with myself. Thank you for writing a story that is so true, so you, and so me, and so much a part of every human being on this planet.
